What is oddpath, who is Hunter Light, and why is Hunter Light obsessed with it? A breakdown:

Hunter Light is actually Skylar Price from Palo. He is a conspiracy theorist followed by many people in the Cedar Rapids area.

When someone is in the news or goes on his page to offer a differing view than his own, he searches their names and names of their friends and family on truthfinder. One feature of truthfinder is that it links suspected social media accounts attached to a name.

First and foremost, the oddpath “profiles” he links are not actual oddpath profiles. If you look at the web address, the hyper link will be …/search/iowa/first/last. An actual oddpath profile would be …/member/name. (Screenshots 1 & 2)

Oddpath was a failed social media website (screenshot 3) in the early 2010s that included a search feature (screenshot 4.). This search is what is generating the “profile” links in truthfinder.

What he is doing is equivalent to looking up someone in the phone book that was recently arrested for drugs, finding them in there, then jumping to the conclusion that everyone in the phone book does drugs.

I don’t think he truly believes all these people are actively harming children, if he did you would think that he would try to physically stop it? I have no sympathy for child abusers and if I found out someone I was close to was harming a child, I would stop it.

He is doing this to gain viewers and continue to spew misinformation to his followers.

First- go to truthfinder and ask them to remove your information. They may or may not, but that is your best bet to stay out of his crosshairs.

Second- block and report the page.

Third- share this post with your friends that are “followers.” Screenshot it and share it on his page. Tag people in the comments below.
